Care Partner Training: Parkinson's Dementia (In-Person)
Summary
Learn more about what you and your family should know about Parkinson's Disease. We will discuss a basic overview of Parkinson’s disease, along with what Parkinson’s is, what causes it, common symptoms, treatments, and strategies for managing symptoms. Presented by Dawn Lewis of the Parkinson's Foundation Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
This class will be held both virtually and in-person in Fairfax. You are signing up to attend in-person.
In-person attendance in Fairfax is limited to 20 participants. The session will be held in the Mazawey Education and Support Center, 3955 Pender Drive, Suite 100, Fairfax, VA 22030.
This program is a part of our monthly Care Partner Training series. All sessions are FREE, and held the second Wednesday of each month from 1:00 to 2:30 pm.
