Care Partner Training: Resources and Guidance for Managing Primary Progressive Aphasia (In-Person)
Summary
Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) is characterized predominantly by the gradual loss of the ability to speak, read, write, and understand what others are saying. Learn more about PPA, including the signs and symptoms, how it differs from other dementias, and the resources available locally and through AFTD.
This class will be held both virtually and in-person in Fairfax. You are signing up to attend in-person.
The session will be held in the Mazawey Education and Support Center, 3955 Pender Drive, Suite 100, Fairfax, VA 22030.
This program is a part of our monthly Care Partner Training series. All sessions are FREE, and held the second Wednesday of each month from 1:00 to 2:30 pm.
